Keillor: A shame to leave this world early
There’s a gorgeous and tender post today on Coffee Shop Dharma: a meditation by Garrison Keillor on impermanence.
It’s such a fine piece of writing that I can’t actually extract any of it. To post something from the beginning would be to miss the climax to which it builds. To post the climax would be to miss the surrounding ordinariness that gives the climax meaning. And I don’t want to steal Coffee Shop Dharma’s thunder by copying the whole thing, either, so I’ll just leave you to visit that site.
Enjoy this day!
