Meet Edward and Jane, a few years on

The other day I introduced my great grandparents, Edward Tragheim (né Joseph McColl) and Jane Ann Waddell. Here they are a good many years later. I can only guess when this was taken: perhaps about 1960? He looks very much like I remember him, although when I used to visit him later on it was in hospital, with my grandfather. Great grandad used to pretend not to know who I was, and then he’d say, “Ah, you’re the fifer!” (I was brought up in the county of Fife).

One reason I’m posting these old family pics is because I’ve been investigating my genealogy and I’ve also been making contact with long-lost branches of the family. I know at least some of them will be interested in seeing relatives they never met.
