I can just see the Onion headline now: “Barack Obama, Dalai Lama announce merger.”

I’m guessing this was taken at the time HH was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor. Anyone know for sure?

    I hope he was carrying the white scarf. When HHDL visited the Congress he “roped” Barack. This is a very nice picture. I have one very similar from Obama’s website. It was taken during the same visit. It is still on the website if you want to see it.
