Are there any fish to be had from that lake? My question is sincere.
I envy how well-traveled you are. I’ve not been outside North America and Western Europe.

The kid in the back doesn’t look at all happy with this development. No pun intended.
Cool shot though.
There’s a big fish market in Awassa, and also big storks about five feet tall, and with peculiar red lobes at the back of their necks (that may be a future WW post), so there must be a lot of fish in the lake. The only fish we saw the boys catch thought were tiny — maybe four inches long.
I’m not actually that well traveled! Apart from North America and a few European countries I’ve only been to Ethiopia.
Hey, Mojo. He was one of the few kids who didn’t smile. A lot of the kids in Ethiopia have never seen pictures of themselves, but they know exactly how to strike a pose!

This is a great portrait. It really captures something about the different personalities. You see how unique each of the boys are just by their differing reactions to the camera. One seems as though he’d rather be left alone to fish. The other looks like he was made for the camera.
